I usually watch WGN however I don't really watch the news that much do to how some channels,like Fox for instance,make the news make the news political and bash the other party.
I listen to 102.7 for my local news since it revolves around my job. So its sort of a neccessity for me. Although, Yahoo is a good place to get the latest and greatest.
Occationally I listen to BBC when I'm in my dad's car, but he lives in Maryland, so that rarely happens. At my house in Wisconsin I didn't watch TV very often. Right now at my dorm in Chicago we don't have a TV or cable yet.
i watch WGN news everyday in the late afternoon. thats where i get all my daily news from. i watch it for its world and local news only. where news station do you listen or watch? do you even watch the news or get your information somewhere else?
Yahoo actually is a good source for news. You should also visit the news channel website, they usually have information on everything you need to know. Sometimes they even have news prior to the latest news just in case you missed a couple days. The news that I'm most interested in hearing about is whether or not they found an alternative to the BP oil spill situation.
I get alot of my information from different sites. I hear alot about national issues on radio stations and flipping through tv channels. I really am not in favor of the news; they usually tend to focus alot on the negative things,about the economy. I perfer to listen to stories that are solution based about the problems instead of problem based. So do anyone have any suggestions on any sources that are good to get info from?
Ususally,I recieve the news threw the internet or the first 5 minutes of Goodmorning America. I dont really like watching the news,because its kind of a buzz kill. Although, there is alot of useful information on issues & politics on there that I probably should be tuning in for. I just havent really sat down & committed myself to watching an hour of news as of yet.
I watch Fox Chicago News at nine, I get more information on what has been goin on in the world and in chicago. I learn about many problems that has happen or ganna happen in many topics and I like to know the weather for the next day.
ABC 7 ALL DAY! I go to channel 7 for everything from traffic reports to weather on the 7's lol. I met Roz Varon who gives the traffic report in the morning at my job and she looked and acted like a regular person.. If I listen to the radio I'm probobaly listening to WGCI on commercial free hours.
