We're pulling OUT of IRAQ!!!

I dont know to what extent you know about our countrys was against Iraq. But in short, its pointless and our President, Barack Obama seems to agree. According to him; We will be pulling out of Iraq by the end of this month! The last "strker brigade" which is a fancy term for our U.S Troops, is set to end combat operations again, by the end of this month, August 31st. This is HUGE. With this done, out country will have more money for our own resources and etc. How do you feel about this? Does this make you appreciate and believe in our President more and give you hope that he will continue to manifest and make our country better? Or what do you think his chances are of earning another term at election 2012 with the progress that he has made?

  1. yeah but arnt we sending troops into Afghanistan now? it seems like we are just moving troops elsewhere instead of getting out of a war. As for Obama's chances of winning a 2012 election are slim because we all know the world will end in 2012.

nah im kidding. on a serious note: im really not sure what his chances are. he has done as good of a job as any of our recent presidents. there are many who like him, and even more who don't like him. personally it all depends on if his competitors have a better campaign to present.

  2. I think it is great what he is trying to do. Pulling out of the war could be a strong move on the behalf of his presidency. I feel that he is handling is job very well as a president. Obama came in as the president knowing that he had to began cleaning up a messy situation that was left before him. Many people began to fault him for not getting things done quick enough, and thinking that he has actually made the situation of our economy worse; but he is actually taking big steps to create a major change. I look forward to the plans that he have in the future. He is doing everything it takes to make sure that we as a country maintain.

  3. Oh yes! Things are starting to finally look up. With more money we will have more job openings. With more job openings we will have more happy people. So with more happy people we will be a happier country, and it will hopefully get us out of this recession!

  4. I'm happy to know that our troops are finally coming home. I find it hard to beleive and feel like some people will still be there but none the less I'm happy about it. I have a few friends going into the military and it is comforting to know that they will not be stationed in Iraq. I also have a cousin in the Army who went to Iraq and it is comforting to know he won't come back. Sadly for Obama I do not beleive he will be re-elected. I do not think he is a bad president or anything like that however I feel like the absences of American people and politics will play a huge part in it.

  6. I think I speak forn a vast majority of teens, when I say "THANK YOU GOD". It seems from the outside looking in that, this war was just about oil and power. At no time did it ever seem like we where fighting for some cause, it always seemed like there was some kind of underlined plot or plan to gain something. I think that Obama, made a good move in cleaning up George Bush's mess. I hope he gets elected in 2012, although Im not sure if he wants to be president for a second term. From my perspective, it looks like he just wanted to clean up the mess in the white house and our country. Not necessarily be the man in control for 8 years and do nothing.

  8. i feel absolutely wonderful! this is one of the greatest things to happen to America in a long time. president barack is really becoming one of the best, because it took him one term to do what bush did couldnt do in two. i think president obama will definitely get elected again sole because of his charisma and actions in pulling out of iraq

  9. I think that is actually a great thing because the troops have been gone so long and been away from there families. It honestly doesnt make me appreciate him more because I have heard this before but there are still troops fighting to stay alive over seas now. I do hope that President Obama is able to keep him promise and is able to win a second term in office. I think that he has a fair chance of winning another term he has been doing a pretty good job in office.

  10. haha, yea Drew we will all die in 2012!! No need for a president.JK That is a strong point to think about though. Drew your right, it all depends on his competitors and the work they put in to be elected. So I guess Obama will have to just work twice as hard to prove that he is the one for the job. He still have time to show what he is capable of doing as a President.
